Description

Hear More. Protect More.

GSX 3.0 isn’t just hearing protection — it’s hearing control. The advanced electronic system automatically compresses harmful sounds above 85 dB, instantly protecting your ears from gunfire, engines, and power tools. At the same time, it amplifies safe sounds up to , giving you full awareness of voices, movement, and your environment without removing your protection.

Choose your comfort and protection level with multiple tip options:

  • Max Protect Foam: 26 dB SNR / 21 dB NRR

  • General Foam: 26 dB SNR / 21 dB NRR

  • Silicone Tips: 24 dB SNR / 17 dB NRR

With a proper foam seal, GSX 3.0 delivers up to 26 dB SNR, keeping you safe from impact noise while letting the world around you stay clear, sharp, and real.

The GSX 3.0 takes AXIL’s best-selling all-in-one hearing protection and enhancement system to the next level. Designed for shooters, hunters, workers, and anyone exposed to high-decibel environments, it gives you advanced situational awareness without sacrificing protection. At its core is SonicShieldX™ technology, a new filter-on-microphone system that instantly suppresses impact sounds while letting natural voices and ambient audio come through with lifelike clarity. You stay protected from blasts and machinery while staying connected to everything happening around you.

Built with the latest Bluetooth 5.3, the GSX 3.0 seamlessly blends hearing enhancement with crystal-clear audio streaming and phone calls. Its SmartSound Balance feature automatically manages sound levels between your environment and your media, keeping your hearing safe without dulling your awareness. When hearing enhancement is on, Bluetooth audio is safely volume-limited — when it’s off, you can enjoy full, powerful sound. And with Tap & Go controls, switching modes or adjusting your hearing boost is quick, intuitive, and distraction-free.

Every detail of the GSX 3.0 is engineered for real-world performance. The Lock-n-Loaded fit system combines multiple concha locks, foam and silicone tips, and flexible earhooks for a custom, secure seal in any condition. Its IP65 rating keeps it safe from sweat, dust, and rain, while an upgraded Battery Boost system delivers up to 15 hours of combined use. Whether you’re on the range, on the job, or outdoors all day, GSX 3.0 gives you total hearing control — smarter, stronger, and clearer than ever before.

Key certifications:

SNR 26

An SNR of 26 means that the hearing protection is estimated to reduce noise levels by an average of 26 decibels across various frequencies.

'SNR' in hearing protection stands for 'Single Number Rating,' which is a single value used to indicate the average level of noise reduction a hearing protection device provides across different frequencies, essentially telling you how much sound attenuation the earplugs or earmuffs will offer when worn correctly; the higher the SNR value, the greater the noise reduction level is considered to be.

SNR is primarily used as a rating system in Europe, while North America often uses 'NRR' (Noise Reduction Rating) and Australia/New Zealand use 'SLC80'; which both differ slightly in calculation.

NRR 21

An NRR of 21 means that the hearing protection is estimated to reduce noise levels by an average of 21 decibels across various frequencies.

Instructions

Step 1: Choose the Correct Concha Lock

The GS Extreme 3.0 comes with the medium concha lock pre-installed. If needed, swap to the size that gives the most secure and comfortable fit. Ensure the concha lock is positioned correctly on the earbud.

Step 2: Choose the Correct Ear Tip

Select the ear tip based on the level of hearing protection you need.

Foam tips provide maximum hearing protection and are recommended for shooting and loud environments.

Silicone tips provide mild hearing protection and are suitable for general audio use only.

Step 3: Install the Ear Tip

Push the selected ear tip onto the sound port as far as it will go to ensure a proper seal.

Step 4: Check Left and Right, Place Lanyard

Confirm left and right indicators, then place the lanyard behind your neck. Adjust the cinch to set the correct lanyard length.

Step 5: Compress the Foam Tip

If using foam tips, roll and compress them before insertion. This allows deeper insertion for best fit and protection.

Step 6: Insert Earbuds

Insert the earbud and tip into your ear canal as shown. Push in as deep as comfortable to achieve a full seal.

Step 7: Secure the Concha Lock and Ear Hook

Adjust the concha lock to sit comfortably in your ear and wrap the ear hook securely behind your ear.

Step 8: Power On

Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the control module to turn the GS Extreme 3.0 on. Press and hold again to power off.

Step 9: Activate Hearing Protection and Test

With the device powered on, touch and hold either touchpad for 3 seconds to activate hearing enhancement and protection. You will hear a confirmation sound.

Before exposure to loud noise, perform a quick test by clapping near your ears to ensure loud sounds are being suppressed. Always test before shooting.
