Description

Earjobs™ Pressure Reducing Flying Ear Plugs 2.0 are our new and improved flying ear plug designed specifically to reduce discomfort experienced while flying. Acute changes in pressure that occur during take off and landing can cause a painful buildup of pressure in the inner-ear. Earjobs™ Flying Ear Plugs 2.0 moderate these changes, allowing your inner-ear time to adjust to the changes in pressure experienced while flying. This is achieved via a small vent at the centre of the ear plugs which allows the pressure built up in the ear to dissipate slowly over time, reducing or eliminating the discomfort for many air travellers.

Earjobs™ Flying Ear Plugs 2.0 also reduce noise so you can have a peaceful flight generally; no more disturbances from crying babies or overly boisterous conversations in the aisle over.

For best results insert just before take off and one hour before landing.

Features:

  • Reduce discomfort caused by air pressure changes during take off and landing
  • Lower the volume of your surroundings for a calm, peaceful flight
  • Washable and reusable; can be used for multiple flights
  • Comes with two pairs and two carry cases so you can share with a friend or hold onto one as backup
  • SNR=24

As featured on Qantas Travel Insider!

Key certifications:

SNR 24

An SNR of 24 means that the hearing protection is estimated to reduce noise levels by an average of 24 decibels across various frequencies.

'SNR' in hearing protection stands for 'Single Number Rating,' which is a single value used to indicate the average level of noise reduction a hearing protection device provides across different frequencies, essentially telling you how much sound attenuation the earplugs or earmuffs will offer when worn correctly; the higher the SNR value, the greater the noise reduction level is considered to be.

SNR is primarily used as a rating system in Europe, while North America often uses 'NRR' (Noise Reduction Rating) and Australia/New Zealand use 'SLC80'; which both differ slightly in calculation.

the ear jobs did the job- no pain no deafness during or after Sydney to Launceston flight

I do not fly often, especially these days with COVID-19 but in the past my ears would pop and be very painful during a flight despite swallowing or chewing to prevent such issues. I have tinnitus and that is always worse after a flight too. But not this time. Ear jobs made it more comfortable- just a bit of buzzing afterwards.

    Grateful for Earjobs

Found this product after reading a Qantas article that recommended them, and they lived up to their review - reduced the pressure in my ears on landing & no popping, just felt normal. Super impressed with my purchase.
