Description

Wax ear plugs from Quies in France, are one of the oldest and most environmentally sensitive options in the world of hearing protection. Wax, with a bit of natural cotton fiber to help it hold together and block more noise, is an ideal material for use when sleeping. The wax softens very nicely when raised to body temperature by placement in the ear, letting you lie directly on the ear containing the earplug. After just a few minutes you will hardly feel the softened wax ear plugs in your ear.

Imported from France, Quies Boules Classic wax ear plugs are made of simple biodegradable, hypoallergenic waxes and natural cotton fibers for maximum comfort during sleep, or for daily wear.

Though not rated for NRR, Quies Boules wax ear plugs offer an estimated 27 NRR equivalent (based on internal company testing), making these an ideal earplug for sleeping, as well as for daily wear for those who need help concentrating in a noisy office, for those who need protection from loud noises, and for those who suffer from hypersensitivity to ordinary noise.

Disposable protective earplugs made of natural wax. Easy-fitting reusable ear plugs that guarantee quiet with comfortable, cotton covered wax ear plugs that mold to your ear. Good for air travel and swimming.

Key certifications:

NRR 27

An NRR of 27 means that the hearing protection is estimated to reduce noise levels by an average of 27 decibels across various frequencies.

'NRR' in hearing protection stands for 'Noise Reduction Rating,' which is a single value used to indicate the average level of noise reduction a hearing protection device provides across different frequencies, essentially telling you how much sound attenuation the earplugs or earmuffs will offer when worn correctly; the higher the NRR value, the greater the noise reduction level is considered to be.

NRR is primarily used as a rating system in North America, while Europe often uses 'SNR' (Single Number Rating) and Australia/New Zealand use 'SLC80'; which both differ slightly in calculation.

SNR 27

An SNR of 27 means that the hearing protection is estimated to reduce noise levels by an average of 27 decibels across various frequencies.

'SNR' in hearing protection stands for 'Single Number Rating,' which is a single value used to indicate the average level of noise reduction a hearing protection device provides across different frequencies, essentially telling you how much sound attenuation the earplugs or earmuffs will offer when worn correctly; the higher the SNR value, the greater the noise reduction level is considered to be.
