Calmer is a small device worn in the ear to reduce stressful sounds. Soft Silicone + Solid Aluminium
Calmer Pro is the most advanced version in the range. Featuring a precision engineered aerospace aluminium reflector encased in a soft silicone outer. Calmer Pro reveals even more detail in sound, while delivering a higher reduction in stressful frequencies.

How it works
Calmer PRO removes the resonant effect of the Concha by using a tiny waveguide inside our ears. The Concha is the small shell shape that connects to our ear canal which normally resonates mid frequency sounds.
By removing this resonance, mid frequency sounds have none of their normal painful aspects.

If you order before 2.30pm AEST on a weekday your order will ship same-day with few exceptions. If you order on the weekend or after 2.30pm AEST on a Friday your order will ship the following Monday.

Parcel post shipping is $7, or free for orders valuing $80 or more. Express shipping is available for $10, or free above $180* (for most items). For orders we sent via courier, shipping is free. For some products large letter postage is available for $3.

I have suffered from tinnitus for several years now, of increasing severity. Although Flare don't make any claims, I saw some suggestions from others online that these may help. I was sceptical about how well these could work, but at the point where I was willing to give them a go. OH MY GOODNESS... it's quiet! I wore them for about an hour when suddenly my constant companion was gone. It's not 100% gone all the time, but much quieter than before, and sometimes gone altogether which has not happened in over two years. It is such a relief. As a bonus, I find myself less exhausted by noisy environments and I can actually hear people talking in restaurants, etc, instead of reading their lips and guessing. These are amazing. They also fit well into my ears and I don't feel like they will fall out with talking or eating. I forget they are in... but I quickly notice when they are not.

Great fit, legit helps to reduce my autism induced sensory overwhelm. They’re discreet when worn and comfortable. I don’t go in public without them, this is my third pair.
Tip: get the keyring storage canister so you know exactly where they are between uses. Keeps them cleaner too.

I have been suffering from a concussion for the past 3 months. These little ear pieces have changed my life! I wear them all the time and even to bed. They block out the sharpness of sounds that were once very annoying and painful for me. I do feel more calmer and more confident to try new things now.

I own these and the regular Calmer. Both are excellent for dulling the sharp noises of the world around you. I have ADHD and ASD - the effect is it does actually help me get less distracted and irritated by what's going on around me. I also find my ears are less fatigued at the end of the day, which I'm heavily conscious of working in audio. The pro version are a clear step up and they're very much like listening through an equal loudness curve if you're a nerd into that stuff; I used to mix with an equal loudness filter applied over my monitoring bus to let me work at very low volumes without accentuating the mids too much, I've found the Calmer Pro give me the same effect! Bit less annoying than switching the plugin on and off when checking louder too, and overall I can work much longer without fatigue with these in.
Compared to the regular Calmer the Pro does tend to slip out of your ear a little more and that can be a bit annoying but an advantage they have on the regular model is that if you're wearing over ear face masks they won't squash down like the the regular one does. Overall I've found them to be an invaluable tool.
